Easy to set up and use, fully customizable, looks great with many choices of backgrounds and animated backgrounds, as well as accurate hour-to-hour readings covering everything. You can add favorite locations to make it quick to see those areas' forecasts. Great free weather app with no widgets, which consume your device's memory. Very easy to use and a wealth of information with current conditions and future forecasts that let you plan your trips with confidence. Too many are incomplete, or do not have current conditions when brought up. Also shows other features, light photography, light info, and moon cycles.

And, you don't have to load new screens to see it all; you just scroll down a little to see it all. Live radar works great, which means that alone is more than what some other weather apps can say. Customizable themes, a slew of widget choices, and an option to show the current temperature in the notifications panel. Has daily temperatures on the widget, so you can see how the day will pan out. It can easily be customized to arrange information so you can see what you want quickly.

The app has many different widget options, including forecasts at a glance, and options for how much room the widget occupies on your cell phone home screen. The selection of photography for the backgrounds is a real bonus, and you can submit your weather photos, too. Several weather providers to choose from, plus a satellite view that you can adjust to areas and categories. This seems to be the most detailed, accurate, customisable, and good-looking app there is for weather. High-detail, accurate data sources, lots of widgets, great photos, and, again, absolutely zero ads.

The free version also gives the first-time user a lot of good features not found in other weather apps. You can save several different locations in your favorites, so you can easily look up the weather there. Temperature, conditions, wind speeds, sunrise, and sunset times Very accurate, and you can store several locations at the same time, making it easy to get your clothing right if you're travelling. The widget is customizable, and the ads on the detailed weather page aren't intrusive, like many other apps. The feature of changing the presentation by flipping your phone is really cool and very clear. Quite detailed and precise, if you don't mind setting it to reveal your location.

Even when the sun comes out, the screens start to light up again right through the day, and the screen turns dark as night falls. Accurate and easy to read, this app shows several weather readouts at the same time. One for the widget, and one for the forecast. Accurate, pretty, and widget worked, unlike some others. Google is really becoming an underdog.

The pages are very concise with no cluttering, which makes it easy to pick out the information you want quickly. Everything is displayed in a variety of visually intuitive and appealing layouts, both in the app and in the widgets as well. The opening page is very simple and streamlined, and you can easily obtain more detailed information if desired. This one has the option to enter your location manually, and, unlike others, it remembers it. You don't have to navigate within the app too much to see the necessary information. Gives you an overview that is easy and quick to read, with optional details.

The ability to set alerts based on custom weather parameters for any spot anywhere in the world gives you simple alerts sent to your email or phone a couple of days out ahead of forecasted conditions. Also, if you go on the desktop version, you can create custom colors for layers, which will transfer to your phone if you are logged into the same account. Great for fishing, boating, any sport where wind and weather are considered, other sea activities like swimming and diving, spearfishing, etc. Great for aviators, boaters, travelers, people who are interested in the weather, people who like lots of colours, everyone. Between the many options for layers on the map and the multiple options for forecast models, there is enough information available to really get a good idea of what is going on in the atmosphere. Sadly, in the app and widget alike, even the recently-added, smaller-area HRRR CONUS tends towards wrong forecasts lately.

There are minute details in the hourly forecast that span an almost two-day period, allowing you to see trends in the weather and in the days ahead. There are a variety of widgets, too, displaying as much or as little as you want on your home screen. The widget has links on the time, date, and weather that lead to the Android time, Google Calendar, and this app. The backgrounds are comforting and engaging, although slightly more variations with weather changes would add more subtle variety. Needs a few more options, like change font, font color, the ability to choose what the widget will display, like turning off wind speed, pressure, location, etc. You can even disable location services and choose the locations you want forecasts for, manually.

The ability to add other places of interest across the country and have their weather on hand is also a plus. Always accurate and easy to use, especially the radar sequence, point of time accuracy, and very good at looking forward a day or so to see what is brewing up and wind directions. Good for predicting expected conditions to check for weather windows, though drizzle and light cloud cover is not always displayed. Is animation shows the last couple of hours, then predicts the next couple? You can set multiple locations, which you can pull down and select.
